Deep Detective™ is built to monitor these invisible attack surfaces in real time and detect suspicious access attempts before they take hold.

    At its core, Deep Detective™ combines two things: knowledge and intuition. By “knowledge,” we mean known attack patterns (over 130 million) digital fingerprints that have already been identified as malicious.

    Deep Detective™ doesn’t rely solely on known lists. It uses heuristic methods, a form of pattern and behavior analysis. This allows it to detect attack attempts that are new or intentionally disguised.

Privacy by Design

Deep Detective™ is designed for data minimization. The goal is security without collecting personal content. To make protection work, only the technical minimum information is used such as the app name for classification or digital fingerprints/checksums (e.g., MD5, SHA‑256) to identify files and apps without reading their contents.

These fingerprints are anonymized and transmitted in encrypted form (AES‑256). Data is retained only for the duration of the analysis and deleted after a few seconds. Privacy isn’t a “feature” here, it’s part of the design.

When Deep Detective™ is used in products that are independently tested and awarded, that provides additional evidence of trust. Protectstar™ communicates, among other things, AV‑TEST results, DEKRA MASA L1 certifications, and awards such as the BIG Innovation Award and the AI Excellence Award.
